The Source

In search for inspiration (3D video art piece)

The video art project is exploring the theme of the proactive search for inspiration and what happens when you find it. Two peculiar fairytale characters dressed in black and red velvet suit jackets with torches in their hands emerge from the darkness of the deep forest at night and start making their way through it, looking for the Source of Inspiration. They are listening carefully to the trees and marking those that lead them the right way. When the glowing source of Inspiration reveals itself it hypnotizes the two characters and they enter the state of flow, dancing along the rhythmic sounds of the Source.

It suggest the Idol Wasp to have a liberating transgender power and a holly vision. Beside here there is a collage prototype made for the figure in advance of the sculpting, below is a final piece developed in Zbrush.
